The Norwalk Fire Department met on November 7, 2018 to formally close the old Station located at 42 Whittlesey Ave. The Station served the City of Norwalk for 106 years, but no longer met the functional needs of the growing community. The closure comes as the Department moves to it’s new home, a 17,000 sf Station located at 108 Whittlesey Avenue.
