Grand Opening Announcement: A New Civic Landmark for Grandview Heights

We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the new Grandview Heights Municipal Complex — a forward-looking civic hub designed to support the community today and for generations to come.

In 2021, Mull & Weithman Architects partnered with Philadelphia-based Erdy McHenry Architecture to lead a comprehensive feasibility study for the City of Grandview Heights. The goal: envision a municipal complex that honors the city’s rich civic history while preparing for future growth. Serving as the Public Safety Design Consultant, Mull & Weithman ensured that the operational and functional needs of the Division of Fire and Division of Police were at the forefront of the planning process.

The chosen site—an existing City-owned property on the southern gateway into Grandview Heights—offered a unique opportunity to create a bold civic presence along the community’s main corridor. The resulting design strengthens connections to surrounding public spaces and invites community interaction through flexible green spaces and thoughtful site planning.

The 37,500 sf facility was carefully designed to balance public engagement with the security needs of its key users: City Administration, the Division of Fire, and the Division of Police.
